This was a spur of the moment trip to the Lake District with Les Smith on the off-chance of catching some Autumn colours. We called at Castlerigg Stone Circle for the dawn (as it got lighter we found ourselves part of a cluster of photographers all with the same idea). I didn’t like any of my photos from here.
The only place I liked on the day was Watendlath Tarn even though it was getting a bit too bright for any attempt at subtleness in the lighting.
